The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility team successfully hosted its final Transport Month roadshow event at the Garden Village Community Hall in Somerset West yesterday, 29 October 2024.

‘I am happy that residents came out to meet the Urban Mobility experts. They had an opportunity to engage directly with the team responsible for the roads in the Eastern region of our City and could find out about any transport related issues such as the future plans for their areas. The team also shared information about the various careers that exist within the Urban Mobility sector. Having staff from our customer relations team there was also beneficial as they were available to assist residents with general service requests. I want to remind residents that engagement with the City continues beyond Transport Month via the Sub Councils,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas
